The Affordable Art Fair is a globally recognizedcontemporary art event, first launched in 1999 in Battersea Park, London. Itsmission is to make art accessible to everyone.
The 2025 Melbourne edition is one of the city’s major artfairs, bringing together local and international galleries to showcasecontemporary artworks priced between AU$100 and AU$10,000.
In addition to the diverse range of art on display, the fairalso features public tours, artist talks, family-friendly activities, andinteractive installations—creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for allvisitors.
TIDO ART was originally founded in Nanjing, China in 2014and relocated to Melbourne in 2018 to embrace a spirit of artistic freedom andcross-cultural exploration.
The gallery currently represents three artists. Among them, Dada Duan is the central figure—an artist known for his refined integration of traditional Chinese painting and modern ceramic techniques. His works express depth through delicate lines, layered textures, and thoughtful colour play.
TIDO ART is dedicated to introducing contemporary ceramicart and Eastern aesthetics to Australian and international audiences, fosteringdeeper cultural dialogue between China and Australia.
• The Beauty of Ceramics
At the heart of this exhibition are the ceramic works byDada Duan. By blending traditional methods such as copper red, blue-and-white,and multi-color underglaze with a modern visual language, Duan creates piecesthat radiate poetic charm. Each object tells a quiet story—rooted in time,shaped by hand,and filled with meaning.
• A New Perspective on Oil Painting
Alongside ceramics, we are proud to present Duan’s latest series of oilpaintings. These works continue his exploration of structure and emotion, whileintroducing contemporary tones and a bold yet restrained use of colour.Abstract yet intimate, these paintings are made to be both contemplated andlived with—perfect for bringing depth and character into any space.
